How To Attend CraftHER Market Week Online And In-Person

Our first-ever virtual and curbside craftHER Market Week is officially here. If you’re planning to join us at the market between October 3 and October 11, here’s everything you need to know.

Step One: Go to crafthermarket.com on Oct. 3.

Starting at 11 AM CT on October 3,
crafthermarket.com will transform into a
digital marketplace featuring 90+ women and nonbinary creatives and small business owners. From October 3 to 11, you’ll be able to shop their work directly from their virtual “booths” on the site, as well as learn more about
everyone’s work.

Step Two: Plan a visit to craftHER curbside.

On October 3 and 10 during craftHER Week, you can visit us in Austin, Texas to pick up
craftHER wellness boxes, complimentary care packages from our partners, as well as cocktails and meals. You must wear a mask and practice social distancing in order to drop in. Details are available at crafthermarket.com/curbside.

Step Three: Attend digital creative talks.

Throughout craftHER Week, we’re hosting
virtual talks exploring small business support,
community-care and creativity. You can RSVP for free or by donation at anytime at
bossbabes.org/comethrough.

Step Four: Keep showing up.

Our marketplace is inspired by pop-up shops, traditional marketplaces and the people who organize others to gather. It’s an homage to the places and spaces we care about. It’s a reminder that what we pay attention to grows. So, whether you attend the market, a digital talk, drop by craftHER curbside or simply shout out a small business you care about, it all counts. (You can click here to download our free guide on supporting diverse small businesses year-round, too.)

Produced by bbatxcraftHER Market is a biannual pop-up space, showcasing the talent of women and nonbinary makers in Texas. At bbatx, all of our programs are centered around sustaining communities that care about gender equality and supporting local, creative businesses.

craftHER Market is no different. It's been inspired by a few of our favorite things: pop-up spaces, traditional marketplaces and the people who organize others to gather. In its three years of existence, craftHER Market has showcased more than 600 makers and seen 20,000+ attendees and 2,000+ applicants. Opening every Spring and Fall, the two-day community event features entrepreneurial panels, opportunities to support local nonprofits and family-friendly activities. Reflecting a myriad of women and nonbinary artists and creative entrepreneurs across Texas, all 150 of our seasonal exhibitors own their craft, and at least 90% of our booths exhibit wares made by hand.

This year's market is supported in part by our partners at Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Fair Market. This year's in-kind contributors and supportive brands include the Austin Chronicle.
